“Crawl, walk, run, fly!” is an oft times repeated axiom relating to any complex skill set. It certainly applies to the skills a NPT member needs to not only stay alive, but to protect his ‘precious cargo’ inside his perimeter. To that end, DTG will offer an overnight weekend survival course (Saturday & Sunday – approximately 30 hours) this Spring in late March or April. Interested parties should send us a note at ‘firstname.lastname@example.org’ and note their availability. Majority preference will rule on this class; it’s an open enrollment course; those wishing a private course, please indicate that in your note and we’ll see what we can do to accommodate you.
If you’ve not learned or wish to refresh your basic survival skills, this is your chance! The course will be held in northern Michigan in the middle of a 31,000 acre area with no amenities and temps that typically go below freezing at night during that time of year. It’s challenging, to say the least.
Cost: $200 per person; teams of 4 or more $150 per person
